Today was a good day, I was buzzing from my weigh in yesterday and had a nice day at work. I can't believe I've lost a stone in two weeks, I don't think it has actually registered. Today I wore my smaller shorts to work, they were a bit snug but I think they looked good! In a week they probably won't be snug anymore anyway. These are the shorts that would fall off of me back in the summer of 2010. I'll get there! Today I had a coconut shake (it was okay, I've heard it is really good if you take half of the packet and mix it with half a pack of chocolate shake) then I had a choc pre made shake for lunch and an original porridge and I'm having oriental chilli soup for dinner (which I'm
Kinda struggling with)! I don't even want to eat a normal meal, ketosis has made my appetite disappear! You just have to deal with the dragon breath and everlasting periods (2 weeks and it isn't finished yet, lame or what). So the boyfriend is at work tonight so I'm flipping bored. Will probably just go to bed early! Night night dieters!

Cambridge Diet Plan Week 2 Weigh In
Good evening dieters! This evening (after a gruelling day at work) was my second weigh in and I am proud to announce to you all that I lost 6 lbs!! Making a total of 1 stone 1 lb in 2 weeks! Phenomenal! This diet truly works wonders! My appetite has completely died and I'm assuming my stomach has shrivelled up to the size of a grape. Work shorts are not quite big enough to replace with the smaller size, remember ladies, as Joan Rivers once said, "just cause it zips, doesn't mean it fits!" words to live by.

Cambridge Weight Plan Week 2
Today, Monday the 16th of July 2012, is day 12 on the Cambridge diet! And I'm feeling great. Yesterday morning I was dancing around the kitchen to radio 1 drinking a strawberry shake before work, and my shorts were falling down. Infact they are almost too big now! But I tried on the smaller size I have and even though they fit, they are a little too snug for comfort just yet. I have also purchased myself a bobble bottle, as I'm on a health kick I might as well be drinking filtered water. My housemate also bought a pink Brita filter jug, it's great! Although the first set of water tasted a little weird.
So diet wise, my period has been really odd. It started a couple of days after I started the diet, right on time, however it's been really light and strange, and I'm still on now. I spoke to my consultant and apparently this is normal, when you are on sole source it usually monkeys with your "flow".
Little win, the other night my boyfriend was having garlic bread and pizza (which I had to cook) followed by a Terry's chocolate orange and I didn't have any! Slightly tempted but resisted, and just had mushroom soup instead. Afterwards he felt sick and bloated and I felt fine :) karma!

Cambridge Weight Plan Day 7, Weigh In
So! Today was my first weigh in. I had almost convinced myself that I hadn't lost any weight because last night I was really naughty and ate a tin of tuna (not so naughty) wiiith two tablespoons of mayonnaise and some balsamic vinegar (naughty!) but I LOST 9 LBS! Miraculous. I'm so pleased!
Today I had a vanilla shake, hot, with a spoon full of instant coffee (Kenko Milicano, mmm), a chocolate shake and some spicy tomato soup but this time I DIDN'T mess it up! You mix it with a little cold water into a smooth paste and then add hot but NOT boiling water. The result - smooth and delicious!
Anyway I'm bushed, night night bloggers

Cambridge Weight Plan Day 6
Today is day 6, which means WEIGH IN TOMORROW! Very excited. i'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I have lost some weight, which I definitely have... I think... I hope! Today I have had the mango shake for breakfast, blended with ice to make a thick smoothie type drink, not my favourite I must admit, I might give them a miss in the future. I've had two chocolate tetra bricks during the day today and I'm going to have the apple cinnamon porridge for dinner.
Okay time for a confession, last night I was making my boyfriend a tuna sandwich for work aaaanddd... I had a tiny tiny bit of tuna. TINY, not even a forkful. And I don't feel bad about it, it was DELICIOUS. I'm considering doing the SS+ so that I can have a small meal in the evenings. But I'll probably continue with the SS for one more week before moving onto the SS+, god I just still want a big whopping curry... grrr..
I'm keeping myself motivated by thinking about how lovely it would be to have this excess 4 stone gone.... I CAN DO THIS!

Cambridge Weight Plan day 5
Today was particularly rough. I felt really lethargic at work, reeeally lazy, and I'm craving a big saucy curry with loads of papodams. To top it off, my boyfriend is dragging me to McDonalds to get dinner for him, so very unfair as I can't have any :( but I WON'T cave! I peed on a ketostick today and I am in ketosis, very happy about that! Just keep thinking backfat backfat backfat.... I am determined to succeed! So today I have had a cappuccino shake, original porridge, strawberry tetra brick (shake in a carton) and mushroom soup. All very yummy :) limited edition mango shake tomorrow! I might blend it with ice to make something special. For now I will spray myself with breath spray to keep the McDonald's envy at bay

Cambridge Weight Plan days 3 and 4
Today was day 4 on the Cambright Weight Plan! I've begun to feel more and more hungry between meals which I believe means that ketosis is going to kick in soon! Yesterday was the first day I had been at work while on the diet, and it was thoroughly successful. I had a strawberry shake for breakfast, very delicious, a strawberry carton shake on my first break, and I made some mushroom soup on my second break, everything was so yummy I couldn't believe it! The only thing I haven't liked so far was the maple pecan porridge... Not a fan, I don't think I will be getting any more of those. For dinner last night I had the spicy tomato again. Apparently I have been making it wrong which is why it has gone gritty. I have been mixing it with boiling water - mistake! You need to add some cold water, mix to a paste and then add hot but not boiling water to it, and whisk, and apparently then it doesn't go gritty! I shall be investigating this when I get some more. Today for breakfast it was the chocolate orange shake, which was good but not my favourite. Lunch at work was a chocolate velvet shake in the carton, which was nice but not as good as the strawberry. Second break was original porridge - oh my gosh SO GOOD! I really really enjoyed it, even though in preparation I spilt some up my arm (and it was blisteringly hot) and then lost half of it when it boiled over in the microwave :( but I'm having it again tomorrow it was so good. Looking forward to it too! Dinner was leek and potato soup, yum :).
I am really looking forward to my weigh in on Wednesday! I can feel the benefits of the diet already. Firstly my work shorts are feeling loser! I don't feel like they are cutting me in half any more. I am going to burn my far clothes as soon as I can fit into my old ones from before I packed on the pounds. Secondly I haven't been bloated at all, a small miracle seeing as it is coming u to that time of the month. And I haven't farted once (over share perhaps). All positives! I did a ketone strip on day 2 (Friday) and it said I wasn't even nearly in ketosis yet, but I'm going to do another tomorrow or Tuesday, whenever I have time. Not looking forward to the stinky breast but thankfully my lovely consultant gave me some breath spray :)
Good night bloggers xx

Cambridge Weight Plan Day 2
Day 2 of Cambridge FUN! I feel fine, no pangs, no headache, success so far I think. Breakfast - strawberry shake. really yummy! Lunch - apple cinnamon porridge, which was also very nice. Linner? Chocolate mint shake, oooh my gossshh very yummy! Dinner - leek and potato soup, also very delicious and creamy!
The shakes are so delicious it doesn't seem like a diet at all so far! In-between meals the porridge and choc mint shake I started to get hunger pangs however they only developed after I had a cup of green tea, very odd! Definitely going to leave the green tea alone now. Drinking the water has not been a problem at all! the first pint in the morning before the first shake is a little bit of a struggle. Its quite nice not to feel bloated, gross or really uncomfortably full. I have work tomorrow so it will be interesting to see how I deal with eating the meals on my breaks. Seeing as I work at a theme park, going on break involves sitting in a packed canteen with loads of people eating chocolate and crisps, the only food available really. It is all friend and beige. The healthiest thing you could get is perhaps a baked potato with tuna or a tuna sandwich. I don't really want to sit at the table sipping a shake out of the Cambridge shaker.. I bought 5 pre made shakes that I will take with me, but I only really want to take one each day. On my other break I may attempt to make some porridge in a tupperware container, less conspicuous. I don't really fancy being questioned about my eating habits. I'd rather like to keep it a secret and let people be shocked as the weight melts off :) I can dream hey!

Cambridge Weight Plan Day 1
Cambridge Weight Plan day 1! I went and saw my consultant Tracey yesterday evening, she is really very lovely. She ran me through everything, measured me and then kitted me out with supplies (including breath spray for when I'm in ketosis, grand!). I now have a range I shakes, porridge and soups to eat for the next week, and then I'm seeing her next Wednesday for a weigh in and next weeks "food". So today is day one of the sole source step (where Cambridge products are your sole source of nutrition) and I started with a Cappuccino flavoured shake. Initial thoughts, very tasty! Not at all like my boyfriends protein shakes taste when they are mixed with water (gross), these are quite thick and creamy! I think they contain milk powder. It was also very filling. As im tall I need to have 4 "meals" a day, but apparently it will be a struggle to fit them in some days. I'm not looking forward to the headaches an hunger pangs of tomorrow! Water water water.
Meal 2, maple pecan porridge, first impression, yum! Second spoonful, yuck! It's got a really strange after taste, I had to wash it back with water! Hopefully the other flavours won't disappoint. Meal 3, chocolate shake, DELICIOUS! I prefer cappuccino I think though. Meal 4, tomato soup! Day one was a success all in all, no hunger pangs, no dizziness, headaches, nada! Bring it on!!

Cambridge Weight Plan?
So I'm totally fed up of feeling sluggish and gross. Yesterday it all came to boiling point when I was in London with my boyfriend and I was sweating buckets on the tube. I don't know why, but when you get sweaty your jeans seem to tighten, very very uncomfortable! So today I am going to meet a Cambridge weight plan consultant! Hello milkshake diet, bye bye a few stone. Unwise? Maybe. Lazy? Maybe. Desperation? Definitely! before pictures to come ;)

Soup Glorious Soup
I've been eating nothing but "fresh" soup for over a week now, I don't make it myself, and I'm not certain just how fresh soup in a tub is. Do I feel better for it? Not really, rather the same to be honest. Do I feel any thinner? Not really. Have I been to the gym? Not at all. Tomorrow, I tell myself. I'm really lacking in motivation to go. I need a gym buddy to spur me on. Any volunteers? I have become rather a soup connoisseur though. I do enjoy a bowl of soup. It's got to be better than a sandwich or something else. What I would really like is a bicycle, so I could cycle to university.... Or so it can sit in my living room and act as a clothes horse.... Pashley Poppy please! If anybody feels so inclined. They are lovely.... Imagine all the cakes I could eat and not feel guilty! I made a soya bubble coffee today, delish! Too many pearls though, I was chewing for what felt like an eternity!
